Yoga is the dance of every cell with the music of every breath that creates inner serenity and harmony.
For me, personally, the benefits of daily movement can’t be measured. My body feels loose and free, my mind is clear and settled. Daily life flows more easily.
However life is busy. I get it! Children need tending to, errands and to do lists are never-ending. Work drags us from our beds in the morning and often follows us home at night.
However, it is because of this that I believe we need to prioritise our mental and physical health. We can’t give to others if our own cup has run completely empty, and sometimes taking an hour for ourselves is all it takes to replenish.
As we enter into parenthood, the demands on our minds and body multiply and finding the time for a precious pause becomes even more vital. With this in mind, I have tailored my yoga classes to pre and postnatal parents. The movement is gentle, aimed at alleviating aches and pains that come with pregnancy and parenthood while also building vital strength.
